We urge corporate to invest in the property. It's sad because the place has so much potential. Overall it's an ok place to stay, but definitely not for the room rate charged. However the pool looked like it had a film in it, there were leaves in it (it's an indoor pool) and ants were lined up around the pool. As someone traveling with a child, the pool is the highlight of the hotel. The hallways to the rooms had very dim lighting and the carpets were bare. There is a bar/restaurant that had a nice setup but you could tell it hasn't been used in quite some time. The breakfast nook is cozy with lots of books. Honestly it seemed like this hotel was gorgeous at one point.

The parking lot was full of potholes, there were weeds and grass coming up from the walkway. We were very surprised by the lack of property maintenance given the chain. The hotel is in a good location and the staff were friendly. Parts of the indoor pool hasn’t been working for months. If you leave a request tag on the door it takes hours to get them. If you need extra towels early it’s best to go to the front desk. They may take your money but atleast the front desk refunds it. Be careful when using the vending machines. Even the carpet in the dining area was filthy. This hotel needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades. The bath tub drained so slowly that after a 15 minute shower your feet were submerged under water. Air ac in the room worked fine but had an old moldy smell coming out of it. Next morning it smelt like someone sprayed a lot of air freshener. I noticed someone had put an air freshener inside the ac unit and also there where some kind of rodent droppings inside the vents. They still use old ac units to cool the hallways. I should have known better.įirst off the staff is very pleasant. I couldn't find any rooms for the first night so we stayed but got another room for the second night. Luckily another associate was walking by the room and offered a discount because she agreed it smelled really bad. I said I was going to look for another room in the area and she again started going off that she already had our credit card. Then they gave us another room and it smelled all also. We went to to the room and it smelled like mildew. Check in was supposed to be at 3 they weren't ready until 4 and they made us wait. She was yelling to one of the customers across the room that she had his credit card. She was flustered when we got there because everyone else was complaining about their keys not working.
The young lady at the front desk seemed like she was a little too young with too much responsibility.
